... 15 jun 2002 ... 10 years ago ... :o)

Big day for all the family that long time ago when my daughter, Siri, married Marius. I made the two following wall-quilts for them to treasure some time after their wedding :-)
Love was definitely in the air:

Still after 10 years this next one with the three photos looks just as good. Somebody helped me to transfer re the photos, and I made the wall-quilt with the star-patterns. The stars are in Thai-silk, and checking now, I can see I must do the binding once more, a bit wiggly-waggly.

Nice pics to remember a lovely Saturday on June 15. 2002.

Outside the church their friends let the newly wed have rice-beans all over them!
A symbol of  Good Luck and Happiness, and that`s what we pray for :-)

So exactly 10 years after their wedding, they went to Italy to spend that very day in Rome.

Here they are off for a long weekend while the Grannies take care of their two children.

The four of us went up to Lillehammer a beautiful town north of Oslo ,spending much time in the swimming-pool in the hotel, had  lovely walks high up on mountain-tops, not to mention in the  park "Hunderfossen", where we among lots of activities could to some rafting.

Nice for us two to spend quality-time with our Grand children.

Must just add, first time ever using the Compose-button when making a post. Takes time for me to get used to. But  I`m sure you too think it looks better.  Hugs,Grethe.
