Here you are :

Enjoy some of the photos from last weekend at the www.nbql.no held at one our local schools. Lots of visitors, especially on Sunday.

A few of the quilts in our competition with the theme "MEMORIES",with the max seize 1 x 1 metre . All names were hidden on the backing with a piece of fabrics on top. That meant nobody knew who had sewn the quilt . See the bows on  no 1, 2 and 3. My last pic on this post you will see a close up on the winning memory wall quilt  :-)

Please check more photos on www.nbql.no as bags and this and that as well as the big sales tables full of lovely things to buy! So then, last pic as promised here it is the no 1:

Oh Gosh, almost close-up of me :)) Well, here comes the picture of my "BUTTON-MEMORY". The idea is from an old Australian magazine all the way back from 2003.

Yes, I was just as proud as I am sure you would have been ...... LOL
I have used very old buttons kept in a tin from when I young girl, except from the small ones used on the flowers.I have shared those with a very good non-blogger quilt friend.
Have a nice week! Might see you at the FNSI  on coming Friday:-)

I love your little button stitchery. Did you get lots of inspiration from all that eye candy? Thanks for including a pic of yourself!!

I believe that the best quilt there--although all are pretty--but yours with the old buttons is the one that spoke to my heart!

Congratulations on your win! The memory quilt is lovely. I used to play with my grandmother's button tin. She could tell me what the buttons came off of. There were also military buttons from uniforms. Such a treasury. I can see why the buttons were special to you.

Thanks for sharing the show.

I thought to myself that button quilt looks familiar and it is...I made the same design last year as a swap present but as the bag that was published in the magazine...loved it so much I almost couldn't sent it off for the swap!...the design looks fabulous in your mini quilt...congratulations on your first prize, very much well deserved...
