Challenge in one of my Quilt-Guilds....

My quilt-guild the http://www.bll.no invited us some months ago to make an A3 seize quilt. We could choose from one of the four seasons.  As you understand I did chose winter-time. We could make as many A3 seize quilts as we wanted. So I made two.

Close up of my Clover  "Yo-Yo" (seize small)

I saw a picture of this one in a magazine some years back, did cut it out, and managed to make it
useing some of my Christmas fabrics.

Here`s my next contribution for the challenge:

Here comes SANTA as a close-up :

You might remember the pattern from way back. It is from one of Nancy Halvorsens pattern books. I even had some of her fabrics left, he looks quite fat and I`m really looking forward to seeing him fairly soon ........ LOL .....

Almost every stitch is made by the machine. Not the Yo-Yo`s though, I definitly struggled a bit with each of them (should have been a left-hand one) .
Off very soon. Told you there is a quilt-meeting to night. My DH is left all alone to give out sweets and oranges to all the ghosts that ring the bell. Lucky him  ??  !!  All the best till next time :))

Kjempefint tre! Og nissen er blid og god. Håper du får en fin kveld.

Så fine bilder, både juletreet og nissen! Smart å stikke av fra hele Halloween- trafikken, selv har jeg vært med valpen på dressurkurs og lot Svein passe døra :-)

Lovely quilts Grethe. I am impressed by the yo yo (Suffolk Puff) tree. Great idea! Sorry it was a bit fiddly for your hand. It was well worth the effort.
