287 days left till Christmas 2012 .... and my TTS is finished + 2 blocks of Scandinavian Christmas done.

Oh,it is such a good feeling inside, isn`t it when you have ended a long-lasting quilt.I`m so happy.I bought the pattern-book as Chookyblue announced the new SAl,just as I had finished the Garden Journal. It took it`s time;not half feeling lucky at the moment!
It`s quilted in loose loops and small hearts, and I love it. Merete does such a super job. Of course the best thing might be if I hand quilted it my self. But alas, not this time either... LOL... Easy to count the days till Christmas 2012. On DI`s blog there is a count-down,so you may just check there. Big thanks to Chookyblue`s SAL group who has inspired me over and over again.

I have used the
Moda range Luna
Notte,I like the
non-Christmas
colours
blending in.
It has been
up on the wall
for a couple
of days just
for a short
"show and tell".

Still some snow left in our garden. The flowery fabrics look good surrounded by snow,green-grass-to-be,as well as my 2 Grandchildren:-) Well, well,I`ll leave it hanging in our hall for still some more time.

Moving along as days pass by with my SC. Sometimes I wish I could do nothing by sew and read books. But not yet;may be when I really get a lot older?? :o)
Anyway, here`s block 2 of this lovely Lynette Anderson`s quilt. You may remember I am in a small Stitch Along group doing Lynette`s Scandinavian Christmas. We`re 8 in this group now as May Britt also joined us. Planning to have mine finished by July -this year of course!- but no promises.....
Block 1 and 2 joined! Must have a "Christmas break" now.I think it is time to dig into my UFO boxes or may be I need a new challenge.Something are in my dreams, and sometimes dreams come through, especially on March 12th!Hurrah!!!So I`ll wait and see...LOL...

Yesterday`s "spur-of-the-moment" cakes, not at all as good as homemade cream cake, but did it`s purpose!

Glad we`re heading for a warmer season soon, by Easter for sure all snow will have melted in most parts of Norway and more spring-flowers will bloom ever so pretty. That`s something to be looking forward to.
Enjoy your crafts,Be Happy and Take Care! from Grethe :O)

I enjoyed working on Andrea's tts also . Using different material on the hanging certainly mares a difference, I like your bluey squares. Happy children are always a pleasure.

Kan være enig med deg at teppet ble finere etter at du byttet ramme på de blokkene. Men du er kjempe tålmodig...
Sees i Bergen?

Your TTS turned out beautiful. I love the 'rich' floral fabric you picked. Very good looking models. Cheap too, they only need paying with cakes! :)

The TTS is so pretty. Well done with the SC! I haven't progressed on mine as it has been easier to stop my hands cramping from painting by knitting rather than sewing. It is my next sewing thing I will do when the final push to get the house ready is finished. Block 2 is my fav one of the 5.
