Colour contrasts, this and that and a handbag-finish for October month.

Please do have a cup of coffee while reading  ... lol ...
Beautiful colours on the sky the other day.
Enjoyable to walk on the dead pale orange coloured
leaves listening to the crisp sound.
My Buggy Barn "Spring Flowers" top all finished, now just waiting  to be quilted.
Picture taken some time ago when the colour of the grass still was green.
We have started on Yvonne W Designs "a Christmas Welcome Cushion".
Of course a big secret, so my DD must close her eyes if she by any chance
checks my blog... lol.... My Gch and I will have it ready by December 24th!
Very concentrated, Eline,8,she is practising running stitches
on a small piece of fabric:))

Remember the fabrics I chose for the bag below? Must have bought it
on one of the visit to the Festival of Quilts in UK. Very special selvage,
isn`t it, might have been made for a certain occasion? Anyway, the hand-
bag ready to be used on a nice day. Pattern from Lynette Anderson
"Birdhouse Bag" doing the fabrics in a crazy patch. I have a 44"
strap to go across me, otherwise I have done almost what the pattern said.
Love the stitchery of small birds and their houses :-)

Do have a small pocket inside the bag.
The back of the bag, please turn your head carefully accordingly!
Bound to go for a walk soon when the rains have blown away!
The bag is my second project for the OPAM-list this month.

I joined  Chookyblue`s  SSCS  this year as well, love the secret!
Better make a cup of tea now, then organize a bit in  my sewing room.
Bought a bookshelf, badly needed, so real soon a lot of boxes off the floor:-)
Thanks for reading!  Happy Sewing time to you! from Grethe.

Great post, Grethe. Love the pretty sky and the crunchy leaves. I got to walk in crunchy leaves on Saturday. The cushion you're making with your grandies is very nice. I may need to make one of those for a gift. And your bag is wonderful!!

Beautiful Autumn colours. Buggy Barn turned out really well. The bag is perfect with your coat- great work Grethe. Yvonne W's cushion is a real delight to make- I made it for last Christmas and adore it! She is very talented.

Koselig at du vil ta lodd i brystkreftforsningslotteriet! Det skal vi ordne, jeg tar kontakt på mail!
Ha en fin uke videre!

The top sky is beautiful!! Well done on finishing the Buggy Barn quilt - it is gorgeous. How neat to see your grand-daughters sewing away and making something for their mum. Your bag has turned out really really well - I do love your fabric choice.

Lekkert Buggy Barn teppe og så stilig veske. Du bare må ut å sprade med den. Så koselig med barnebarn på syrommet, da.
