Wednesday Owl finished ... Yellow left-overs ... walks on white sea ...

Wednesday Owls finished on a Wednesday!
Couldn`t be better, right? ... lol ...
This quilt has been redused down to 50pct to fit  a special place on
the wall. It is a present for my Grandson.
Pattern by hotpossum and fabircs from Nelly Country.

Some details to be seen here:
All sewn by machine except 3 French knots for three small eyes.

Yellow left-overs from Easter 2013.

White sea and brown grass:
We brought bread-crums to feed some sea birds.
Still safe to walk on the sea  :))

One of the Easter days we were sewing together Kasper, and I.

Here he is enjoying himself by the sewing-machine,
sewing his own birthday present, an owl cushion.

I gave the Owl-quilt to him today,as we celebrated his 10-years-day.
Relaxing here on the cushion he made himself (with a bit of help)!
The OWL wall-quilt as a comforter and a book about owls and birds.
All family enjoyed his birthday party!
Next thing for me to be looking forward to is Sue Daley`s visit to Norway in mid
April, real soon that is!! Third time lucky meeting her again, listening and learning  :))
Thanks for reading! Enjoy your sewing always! From

Oh, your Owl Wall Quilt is so cute! I can't believe the sea is still frozen enough to walk on. Our spring is finally here in Washington State (U.S.). We've had some days in the 70s already, but I'm sure it is just Mother Nature teasing us a bit. Take care.

Så flott uglequilt. Smart å forminske det, for jeg syns mange tepper er ALT for store. Ses i Tønsberg. Skal du gå kurs der også??

Happy 10th Birthday Kasper, you've done a great job of your owl cushion...Grethe the owl wallhanging is absolutely stunning, just love it. I can't imagine walking on the sea, just how cold it must be for the sea to freeze, but how fun to be able to do that..have a great weekend :)

What a lovely project! I think some of these quilts work really well when reduced in size. You gave me the idea to do Pumpkin pie that way and I think it is ulrea cute!
