Valentine, Angels in the snow and some quilts from a quilt-meeting.

Valentine`s day is a cold and misty day here. But a warm heart reaching out to blogging friends who celebrate 14 of February. Just heard that some countries have had the tradition for about 600 years.??
Shop-owners here in Norway have just been active for a few years.
Now lots of us are in the game  as well.
Lovely flower bouquet for you with a really good smell of roses.

My Leanne House quilt hearts also wishes you the very best for a happy day :))
These two are so sweet. Yes, love is in the air!

Can you see the angels in the snow? Looking after the two Gch today, they really enjoy themselves:

May be you remember yourself how you made these angels?
Well, I don`t, too many years have passed...lol...

Happy they are, that`s for sure.
All the family love the snow and hope to be building  a snowman soon!

At last some Q-pictures taken at my local quilt-club yesterday.

Last weekend lots of my club friends went to a work-class using the60degree ruler. Here is Kari`s quilt made for her dining-room table:-)

Berit went to a work-class with May Britt of abyquilt some weekends ago.
This is her Scrappy Hearts with samplers all around. Better picture will come another day.
Nice with black and white as well as any other colours :-)

Berit showing 4 of her quilts. She has now started to do her own quilting on her new Janome sewing machine. She is very good :-)
Here is Wenche`s table runner, it is sewn on water disappearing material; all linked together with the flowers, leaves and stems. So pretty! More pictures from our meeting another day.

I have a at-home-day nursing a cold! Guess you have noticed, I`m a wee bit delayed in my own doings! But soon, one of these days, I will be back with a finish, before end of February, I do hope :)) Happy Sewing to you from Grethe.

The real 'Snow Angels' are so cute. I always wanted to make a snow angel myself but we never get enough snow to do it here. Lots of lovely things to see in your post. Look forward to seeing your next finish.....

Så gøy å se hjerteteppet. Og for en god ide å sette blokker rundt det for å få det større :)

Of course as we don't have snow so I've never made a snow angel, they look like fun...love the little pieced heart at the top of your post, made with my favourite French General fabrics what's not to like...I hope you had a nice Valentine's Day and enjoy your weekend...

I remember making snow angels, and how there was a deep spot in her dress after I managed to get up the last time I tried! Children are better at it.
Take good care of yourself!
