Sunny Sunday in September with SUE, and my Scandinavian Christmas quilt all finished.

Just had to share some more photos with you from the work class with Sue Daley

Very concentrated group, trying to remember all the techniques of hand sewing.

Lovely table with big choice of fabrics!

We all had different colours for the quilt to be. I got the hang of the apple cores, great how they fit properly into each other. Nice to have learned how to make it work.

Sue showing me the knicker-knot. Behind us her newest quilt with lots of baskets., a beautiful middle  which is hidden!  AND if you really wonder? Yes, I bought the pattern! Great for all my scraps.
So one day in the future ... may be ...

Another lovely hand sewed quilt made by Sue.

Here `s Kathrine and Hedvig. Her daughter is only 6 months and such a sweet little baby :-)

Finally  Scandinavian Christmas quilt just waiting for December month
and ready to be  my OPAM  for September !

Glad to say: Tomorrow is at last the d-day for the minor surgery on my trigger thumb! This means I might be quite quiet for some time, as no sewing for a couple of weeks at least the doc told me.

Have a great sewing time ahead all blogger friends!
Till next time, all the best to you from me, Grethe :))

Good luck with the surgery! I don't expect a response to this, but wanted to let you know I'll be thinking of you. Your class looks awesome! I'm going to try apple cores some day, so I'll come to you for advice when I do. And have I ever told you how much I LOVE your Scandanavian Christmas? I got my hands on a copy of the pattern, so I'll be making one as well. But probably not in time for this Christmas. Hugs and well wishes!

Congratulations on finishing the SC! And good luck for the thumb operation, obey the doctor's orders and let it heal properly.
