Lovely holidaytime ... post 3.

Have you ever been to "VERDENS ENDE" ??

This name when translated says: END of the WORLD.
From the end of this stony islands you can definitely imagine it all melts together,
the water and the sky.

This picture is taken from almost at the end. The world is out there, the saying used to be if you sail straight ahead you will come back to the same spot! Well, old belief,we know better now.

I love it out here, lots of fresh breeze from the blue sea, blue sky with lovely shaped clouds together with the grey stone.Hope you will enjoy a little showing. New this year was a big exhibition of photos, causing lots of discussion if this should be allowed .To be removed by September.

Lovely models to look at,my DH enjoyes himself!

BUT of course I did  some shopping during my holiday as well. See the sign below, the parking place at the quiltshop is reserved for quilters only :o)

Good for me ,could stay inside for ages and enjoy all the goodies at this beautiful quilt-shop!

I know you really wonder what I bought at Quiltefryd. Soon to show you.
Be patient ... LOL ... Cheers till next time, might be tomorrow, Grethe.

Har aldri vært på Verdens Ende, men morsomt å se at landskapet lignet på Bohuslenkysten der vi nettopp var. Jeg har virkelig fått ladet batteriene ved svaberg og sjø - håper du har også!

Verdens Ende looks like an amazing place. Those early explorers/sailors were a brave lot to go beyond the horizon into the unknown.
Glad you had a good holiday.
Now that's a quilt shop that knows what quilters need - a close parking spot!

What a lovely place. The photographers are lucky that they are allowed to have an exhibition there. I am fast becoming a fan of "big sky" places.
