TdF and SC.

Yes, Did you see the big crash on Tuesday while watching the Tour...  I`m sure you noticed "me" in the middle there!! .... LOL... felt like I was there as I was not up to anything yesterday,
so  no sewing at all done all day :-(
But woke up this morning very enthusiastic and
I started early on my Scandinavian Christmas, block 4 finished.
After lunch I bonded the four blocks with the first border.
It has turned out nice, don`t you think  :-)
I just love the look of it!

Here`s a lid filled with all the hearts for the outer border. I have still some of the snowflakes to be done.  Everything in the lid will be packed in that neat little tin-box after the hearts are ironed on; then stitched and appliqued while on holiday. Bound to be finished by 22. of July  when we rush over the FINAL finishing line.

Tomorrow, when back from the dentist onto one of the other project of the Tour.  I am super-glad I joined Hanne and May Britt in their tour this year. Seem to change my mind a bit about the priority of the remaining projects, but never the less all will be done. Wait and see!  Many more days left. My Butterfly Garden  is still in the same drawer. All those bits and pieces have been resting for a very long time. It will be so great to start on that beautiful quilt parts again. I`ll soon be back :-)

Nydelig teppe, Grethe. Både stoffene og utførelsen.

Well done with the SC, it must feel good to have all the big blocks joined now. The hearts will be easy to applique, no tricky curves or corners. Two projects running at the same time is good for your mind too!
