What a NICE surprise to wake up to on Saturday morning, love the snow :))
I have been waiting for the snow, makes the perfect day-light .
White snow is now falling down and with a cold temp outside hopefully
the snow will stay on the ground for a while. Yet just a small layer and easy to
plough it to reach the post box.. Hope the lovely little bird is happy as well :-)
Lots of the fabrics to be used for entering a competition with the title:
"the LADY and the TRAMP" - a quilt to be finished very soon.

This quilt is to be entered into the yearly competition arranged by NQF/
the Norwegian Quilt Association. Their chosen title is "the Lady and the Tramp".
Our meeting is in March, but the crucial date for entering is 22 of January.
DH and I are taking a small cruise to Germany with departure Jan. 20,
so up to then I`m enjoying working on the finishing touch
on my version of the given title :-)

Sewing plans for February :
1. Pot holders as a `thank you` for a friend who loves cats!
2. A table topper to be sewn for a planned visit.
After finishing these two project in February I must check my UFOs.

On January 25. I am traveling with some friends to "Osterled"
for the yearly one day work class, EPP for me this time.

You have great projects going on, Grethe! It's so nice to finally have some snow, it makes the day lighter and brighter!
I think freshly fallen snow is so beautiful. Especially when I don't have to shovel it or drive in it! You sound incredibly busy and happy. Glad to know your new year is getting off to a fun start. Enjoy all your upcoming activities!

Snø? Hos oss kommer sola FØR snøen. Jeg sitter faktisk ved vinduet og venter på den akkurat nå! Innen en time er den tilbake eter å ha vært fraværende siden slutten av november. Vi har hatt nydelig vær siden midten av desember her i Nord-Norge. Lykke til med nye prosjekter. Jeg starter året med å quilte noen tepper.
Det blir spennende med konkurransen i NQF :) Og fint med snø:)
