Sunday 8 December 2013

Outside with snow, inside with candle lights and a finish or two.

Lovely white snow had falling during the night: great light to wake
up into. Our snow plough is on the right hand side there, soon to be
used clearing some snow out of the way.
Some light still shining through the snow.
Must hurry to take a different picture as well.

Love opening my calendar every day. Here are the 7 first days of December.
Useful quilting related items. My purple -catch-a-falling-star- table topper
looks great with the candle lights. Long "purple-story" of a failed project
actually, made in March.  Tell you secretly when I see you one day :))

Another table runner made with pattern from the book Sew Simple Pineapple,
by Karin Hellaby. See present no8 there, soon to be opened.
This is a more close-up of a block, easy and great to make.
And I have chatted to the man himself. Santa gave me a hope; saying  my
SSCS parcel for sure must be his next sleigh. I`ll settle for his words, still
waiting in excitement. Have the best Advent-time // pre-Christmas-time.
Cheers to all followers from Grethe ...  loving the white snow :-)

Everything looks so cozy indoors! We're having our first snow today, and it's snowing like crazy right now. TO be followed by sleet and ice and freezing rain. I'm snuggled under a charity quilt, finishing the binding. I want to hear about the Purple!!
