One finish in four settings !

I have made three aprons using the same pattern from Leanne Beasley
called: "no 072  APRON STRINGS. I used Simplicity fabric range by 3 sisters
for Moda on all of the three. The two first ones with stitched pockets have
been given away as birthday presents in 2009. The third was finished on
Sunday for my own use. I made it with the rick-rack pocket.
Easy and quick and great fun :))

4 PICUTRES TAKEN OF ONE APRON:
For display: in a tree -  on Sunday!
For display: in the lounge - on Sunday!
For display: on the hook - on Sunday! (next to DH`s!)
For display: Eline as a model - on Sunday:))

I bought the pattern in Jan 2009 and finished two  by the Autumn same year.
both aprons were given away as presents same year. The stitchery pattern
on the pockets is gorgeous with the most beautiful "Leanne-flowers". These
next 4 pictures are taken from paper-copies from 2009 as I can`t find the file.
Yes, Leanne and Gail visited Norway in Nov. 2009.
Oh, it was such an unbelievable lovely experience meeting the two
Australian Designers. They both had lots and lots to tell and show us. They
even took time to try on my newly sewn 2 aprons!!  Leanne in the pink one and
Gail in the teal one.Such a good  memory from that weekend-work-class with them.

Love the picture of the three of us :))

Glad I now may tick off  another OPAM for this month as well as
the kitchen finish for Di`s Challenge in 2013.
Thanks for reading this long story about 1 finish :))
Spring on it`s way, beautiful time ahead; hope things work fine at
your end too. All the best to you and Good Luck with your plans ahead :-)

Well done Grethe the apron is fabulous and part of a wonderful tradition you have. :-) I am looking at a table cover I made in the Simplicity range a few years ago. I only had a layer cake but I began to think it was magic as it just kept going and going, and went into several projects, the last f which was Tiny Town. Such a wonderful Spring colour range!

Sorry I am slow to comment. It has been one of those weeks.

I have just had a nice read through your past posts - very iteresting reading :-) You have really had some wonderful workshops by great tutors - lucky you. I am wondering if the sea is still frozen or if it is back to normal again. Very sweet aprons, too.
