The Wednesday Owls quilt will be sparkling with colours when finished.
Details when I have done some more of the applique.
My Tuesday quilt group at the lunch-table yesterday.
Here we are queuing up for something to eat.
Celebrating 3 birthdays at once: March 12+13+14 all together
on the twelfth. One of us made lots of scones, one brought lovely,
different cheese-pieces as well fruits, and one made the cake.
It served all 19 of us and tasted ever so good.
World`s Best Cake ("Verdens Beste") is always a popular cake.
Unni on the left there, soon to put on the border and binding on
this georgeous wall quilt. She surprised us all how fast she works.
Randi on left is an expert in making bags,
and Eli is doing the Cats and Dogs on her lap.
This is Tove`s two quilts: one jelly roll one and one sampler in batic fabrics.
Nice little bouquet of flowers was given as
a birthday present in the beginning of this month.
Anni Downs pattern and my first finish this month.
Half March month almost gone!
Freezing cold, lots of snow in the garden, but a bright sun every day.
Off to the yearly Norwegian Quilt Meeting tomorrow.
I am doing a work-class with the Norwegian "AnnAKa" during the weekend.
Looking forward to that as well as listening to Joanna Figueroa`s lecture
on Saturday night. Blogger`s breakfast is on Saturday morning,
so such a busy and exciting weekend for me ahead.
Almost 20 quilt-shops with tempting stuff to sell; wise to bring a card or two,
that`s for sure ... lol ... Yes, a dream-weekend on it`s way :))
All the best to quilting friends who are reading my post!
