It`s here the SSCS gift ... Block 2 of RC+D ... Christmas at BLL ...

Father Christmas arrived while I enjoyed myself on the boat to Germany.
Yes, IT`S HERE  ... a rather big SSCS-envelope in the mail, just look:

Thanks a lot "J", Lovely,lovely !
The beautiful ornament and and such a sweet dogie-card, both things resting piece-fully on the snow. Soon now to be a follower of your blog when I`m sure of you name :-)  I`m really looking forward to opening your big parcel, on Christmas Day that is!

Christmas market has passed since I last wrote to you. Out of my 24 pictures only some came through (must get some more knowledge of Picasa quickly)

Anyway, see my blogfriend Oddbjørg and me at the BLL`s weekend. She battled  through a very heavy cold and managed to visit. (we live far, far apart, she was in Oslo visiting her little grandson and family)
The quilt guild had a good sale and show this year as well. AND visitor`s favorite quilt this year :
Well, made by the same lady that won last year !!!  Believe it or not:  my Scandinavian Christmas. Yeah! Great! Oh, so proud, so proud! The prize was 6 lovely fabrics, very soon I`ll  make something in blue and white :))

The boat trip to Germany went well, fairly calm sea, nice people, delicious food and
some shopping at the Christmas market in Kiel, but  had too short time to look for the quilt-shop:(

I`m working on  Raining Cats and Dogs. Block 2 all finished, matching block 1 glad to say!

Can you see the snow sparkling? Well, we have -15 below zero this evening.
They will freeze to death, so better hurry inside again ... lol ...
Have decided just to cuddle up :-) on the couch reading a book,
then onto an hour or so in blogland!  Till next time then, enjoy your week!

Gratulerer, Grethe. Var i Trondheim den helgen og fikk derfor ikke vært der. Så fint at sjøen var rolig.

I cannot believe you have finished block 2 of Cats & Dogs. I haven't even started so I guess I had better get busy.

Gratulerer Grethe! Teppet var nydelig, så jeg er ikke overrasket. Koselig å treffes; skulle bare hatt enda bedre tid til å se på alt det fine dere hadde stilt ut.
Kos deg i adventstida!
