OPAM and CHRISTMAS presents, FNSI, CHRISTMAS Mystery and a CHRISTMAS table-runner.

Busy Friday Night, that`s for sure, but "home alone" should be prepared properly. So you see I am into a lot this Friday. My DH left for a big car-show in Birmingham,UK. My DD and Eline are spending a long weekend in Athens. I have just made a lovely tasting sponge cake for Kasper to take to a raffle thing tomorrow! So I`m all set. This means you might hear the noise of my Pfaff  till late in the night.

First of all : Glad to have been drawn as the lucky winner in OPAM last month.
Thanks a lot, best of all to be part of the  OPAM !

See the small envelope from the two OPAM ladies : a great pattern as well as a super kit from H&P - I`m sure Annie Downs thought about me when she designed it :-)
The big and thick envelope is my first Christmas present this year, all the way from England. Well, Melanie I know - to be opened on 25 of December! I will do the utmost  to stick to the date :-)

Now the FNSI:
"Raining Cats and Dogs" block 1 to be glued and appliqued. This is a BOM from Fatquarter Shop. Yvette and I have agreed to work fairly together on this one. Maybe lots of you out there are doing the same as us: I block a month, so to speak or as quick as you manage. I`m a bit late on this first block! Bound to show you a finishing pic tomorrow :))

 CHRISTMAS PUZZLE:
I joined Merete in her 2012-Mystery. Check her blog how to know the details. I have yet to choose some fabrics and then to cut the parts the way she describes. Wonder what we`re making ?

CHRISTMAS  Seminole table-runner:
3 fabrics were part of the winning price for my no 1 from last weekend. As you see I am fully occupied doing this as well ! A new runner for decorating the Christmas table will be nice, for me or as a present.

For sure a very long night this will be. Hopefully it is a Friday with  many more hours than usual ! No time to watch TV, but listening to some jazz + strong cups of tea might do the trick to keep me  awake.Till later: Good Luck to everybody who joined the FNSI tonight as well as to everybody sewing on this or that at the moment. Hugs,Grethe.
