SUE DALEY is visiting Norway :))

Kathrine`s Quiltestue now and then invite designers for  us "hungry" quilters up north on the globe. We are so lucky having the Australien designer Sue Daley in Oslo at the moment.
                                                  an INTRODUCTION of four quilts.
She is giving us 4 workclasses over 4 days with 4 different quilts!
Gosh, would have been an expert if I had joined all four classes .... LOL ...
I was so lucky meeting Sue a good year ago too.
I`m still working on the beautiful quilt "Faith ,Hope and  Love".                    .

Above you see her APPLEBERRIES quilt.
At lunch, among us all, Anne-Lise recognized me :-)
And I met  her for the very first time! We have been blogger-friends for years ,but never seen each other. Ever so nice to have met and chatted with her.

Here we are together with Sue on Thursday.

the LANCASTER quilt
part of the THIS GOES WITH THAT quilt
the DUKE ROAD quilt
Each day for the four days about 30 quilters will be joining Sue`s work classes. Each of the days a new quilt put your mind to, some attending all four days, some only one.

Kathrine`s shop is always full of tempting things to buy.
Reminding us all that Christmas is only 3 monhts away.
Look at the beautiful range from Moda "Sentiments", a must ???

A big crowd of quilters came on Thursday evening, approx 110, joining for the evening program. Lots of acitviteies; we all are like children on the first school-days. Listening with our moth open, cheering all that Sue had brought with her from Australia. It was great,Big show and tell both of Sue`s different quilts as well as from quilters who had finished her pattern`s quilts.

Our shopping baskets are always filled up, mine on the floor, very difficult not buy everything we really need in the spur of the moment as well as well planned :))
Here is Irene(nonblogger), Hanne and Mai-Britt.
Please pop over to her blog, lots of great things to look at.

We all met Sue`s very nice daughter Shanon as well.
Great, I`m sure she will be an expert like her mum!

Looking forward to meeting them again on Sunday for an introduction of the APPLEBERRIES quilt. Have picked out some blue fabrics from my stash(yes, really!!). No sewing for me, but I will be able to listen, cut out with my left hand and the use the fab glue pencil recently bought from the shop:))

Thanks for popping in! Have a creative weekend and HAPPY SEWING TO ALL,
from Grethe.

Lucky girl!
I would have loved to meet her and see her quilts in person.

Lucky you getting to take a workshop with Sue Daley. I'm sure you'll learn a lot from watching. Hope you get better and can stitch again really soon... Hugs

I think you have the right idea- get full of inspiration so you can be all prepared once you are better.

Looks like lovely workshops.
